Wir freuen uns, Sie zu unserer Kick-Off-Veranstaltung für unser Projekt „Women Solidarity for Building Trust And Resilience in Democracy throughout the EU (W-STAR)“ einzuladen. Das Projekt W – STAR will Frauen mit Migrations- und Fluchtgeschichte empowern, sich bei den zuständigen politischen Entscheidungsträgern Gehör zu verschaffen. Das Ziel des Projekts ist es, dass mehr Frauen mit Migrations- und Fluchtgeschichte sich an politischen Prozesse der EU beteiligen. Unser Projekt ist im September 2024 gestartet und ist auf zwei Jahre ausgelegt. Es wird im Rahmen des Programms »Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values« (CERV) der Europäischen Union gefördert und in 4 Ländern (Deutschland, Italien Niederlande und Zypern)  mit 4 Partner*innen aus der Zivilgesellschaft umgesetzt.

Es gibt spannende Keynotes und Workshops bzw. World Café zu folgenden Themen:

  • Politische Partizipation von Frauen
  • Diskriminierung und Zugangsbarriere  
  • Strategie zur Bildung von Solidaritätsnetzwerke

We are pleased to invite you to the kick-off event of our project „Women Solidarity for Building Trust And Resilience in Democracy throughout the EU (W-STAR)“. The W-STAR project aims to empower women with a history of migration and flight to make their voices heard by relevant policy makers. The aim of the project is to involve more women with a history of migration and flight in the political processes of the EU. Our project started in September 2024 and will run for two years. It is funded by the European Union’s „Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values“ (CERV) program and will be implemented in 4 countries (Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Cyprus) with 4 civil society partners.

There will be exciting keynotes and workshops or World Cafés on the following topics:

– Women’s political participation

– Discrimination and access barriers

– Strategies for building solidarity networks
